Mechanism of Action

Silver nanoparticles react with electron-donor groups containing sulfur, oxygen, or nitrogen on the membrane of microorganisms, and thus cause structural changes and disipation of the proton motive force, amd thus lead to the cell death.

Due to the extraordinary antimicrobial properties of silver and the low toxicity of free silver ions to the mammalian cells, the use of this product is expanding day by day.

Thanks to their small size, AgNPs exhibit superior physical and chemical properties. The decrease in size increases the surface-to-volume ratio and thus allows a closer interation with microbial membranes. For the same reason, AgNPs show a higher bactericidal effect than regular disinfectants.

How to use

This product is a concentrate and must be diluted prior to use.

Dilute 500 ml of the product in 500 ml of distilled water and immerse the tool in the solution after rinsing, so that all cavities are soaked in the solution. Remove the tool and rinse with sterilized water after 10 minutes.
