Bitumen Grade 80/100

Bitumen is a standard bitumen of penetration type, which is commonly known as road grade bitumen and has extraordinary properties for road construction and asphalt and road surface. This type of bitumen is mainly used in making hot asphalt mixtures. Penetration grade bitumens such as  bitumen 80-100 are bitumens that are obtained by performing an aeration process on the bottom of the distillation tower, known as vacuum baton so that its degree of permeability is between 80 and 100. Infiltration grade bitumens have thermoplastic properties, this property causes the viscosity of bitumen to decrease at high temperatures and its viscosity to increase at low temperatures. Meanwhile, 80-100 bitumen is most used in the preparation of the road surfaces.
